Job description

Are you an experienced cyber security professional passionate about shaping enterprise identity security and driving Zero Trust architecture? We are seeking a talented Identity and Access Management Security Advisor to lead the strategic design, governance, and assurance of IDAM and PAM capabilities across a complex enterprise landscape. In this high-impact advisory role, you will act as the principal subject matter expert, bridging technology architecture and business stakeholders to safeguard human, non-human, and workload identities.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the strategic design, roadmap, and target architecture for enterprise IDAM capabilities, aligning identity security with Zero Trust principles and APRA regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Provide expert advisory services and independent oversight across identity lifecycle management, privileged access management (PAM), and identity governance and administration (IGA).
  • Design, mature, and validate PAM controls including credential vaulting, session management, Just-In-Time (JIT) access provisioning, and Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP) frameworks.
  • Lead the uplift and governance of enterprise authentication and federation architectures, including phishing-resistant MFA (FIDO2/WebAuthn), SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and modern cloud directory integrations.
  • Perform robust security assessments, control testing, and configuration reviews on IAM platforms to maintain Separation of Duties (SoD) and drive remediation of identified identity risks.
What You Need to Apply for This Role:
  • Minimum 7+ years of hands-on experience in identity and access management roles with deep subject matter expertise in privileged access management.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience (5+ years) with enterprise identity platforms, specifically Okta, covering governance, configuration review, and security assurance.
  • Proven track record implementing or validating Zero Standing Privilege (ZSP), Just-In-Time (JIT) access models, and Separation of Duties controls in regulated environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of authentication protocols and identity standards (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SCIM) across hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Background operating within regulated environments (such as APRA CPS 234/230, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks), ideally supported by relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor IAM/PAM credentials).
