Job description

We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Installation Team Leader to join a high-performing deployment team delivering commercial AV projects across Queensland.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will lead installation crews, coordinate onsite activities, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

No two days will be the same, with projects spanning commercial, education, government, healthcare, and corporate environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise AV technicians on site
  • Deliver commercial AV installations including audio, visual and control systems
  • Install, terminate and commission AV equipment including displays, projectors, speakers, screens and control hardware
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide onsite support
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers to maintain project schedules
  • Maintain strong client relationships and professional site representation
  • Ensure compliance with company processes, safety requirements and quality standards
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience leading AV installation projects
  • Strong hands-on installation background within the AV industry
  • Experience supervising and coordinating installation teams
  • Sound understanding of commercial AV systems and integration
  • Structured cabling installation experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Reliable, professional and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience with AMX, Crestron, Extron or Kramer systems will be highly regarded.

Qualifications:
  • ACMA Open Cabling Licence with Structured Cabling Endorsement
  • White Card
  • EWP Yellow Card (SL, BL, VL)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
