Human Resources Manager

Materion Corporation seeks a Human Resources Manager to support its advanced materials manufacturing operations. In this role, you will partner with plant leadership to drive HR strategy, workforce planning, and talent development across production and technical teams. Responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management, as well as administering compensation, benefits, and HR policies. You will foster a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while supporting training, compliance, and organizational development in a global, innovation-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations for a manufacturing site, including employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
• Partner with plant leadership to align HR strategies with production, safety, and quality goals
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention for hourly and salaried manufacturing roles
• Administer compensation, benefits, and HR policies in compliance with labor laws and company standards
• Drive training, development, and succession planning to build critical skills in advanced materials manufacturing
• Support a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement through HR programs and initiatives
• Manage HR data, reporting, and metrics to guide decision-making and improve workforce effectiveness
• Handle investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions with fairness and confidentiality
