Assistant Department Manager Fresh Food Counter | Saarburg, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany | On-site

The Role

  • Lead and develop a team, embodying a role model for quality and customer service.
  • Ensure exceptional product presentation, freshness, and adherence to hygiene standards.
  • Drive sales through engaging customer interactions, expert advice, and appealing displays.
  • Implement and execute sales-promoting initiatives.
  • Oversee inventory management, cost/revenue development, and product ordering.

What You'll Need

  • Completed vocational training, preferably in the food retail sector, or relevant cross-industry experience with fresh food counter expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of fresh products with a keen eye for quality and freshness.
  • A results-oriented, structured, and conscientious approach to tasks.

  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, Monday to Saturday.
