Senior Business Systems Analyst

Position: Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Job Description: Senior BSA who translates complex business, technical, and data problems into clear, actionable requirements and user stories. This role focuses on building trusted relationships, guiding cross-functional teams through discovery and change, and delivering technology and data solutions that drive organizational outcomes. You'll act as the bridge between business and IT, lead governance and change initiatives, and ensure alignment across stakeholders and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis and discovery to understand processes, pain points, and desired outcomes; translate into clear requirements and user stories.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships; manage expectations and facilitate tough conversations with senior leadership.
• Collaborate with IT, data practitioners, and product owners to define solutions and ensure successful delivery.
• Facilitate governance, change management, and cross-functional alignment across systems, data, and processes.
• Drive end-to-end delivery support, including requirement documentation, acceptance criteria, and traceability across the SDLC.

Required / Desired Skills:

• 5+ years as a business analyst, consultant, or similar role in technology or government
• 5+ years of business analysis, problem solving, and stakeholder management experience
• 5+ years of strong written and verbal communication across technical, business, and leadership audiences
• 5+ years of business requirements and user story creation/documentation
• 5+ years of MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Highly desired: SDLC understanding; experience with Azure DevOps; Salesforce platform experience; Salesforce collaboration; Salesforce BA certification
