Remote, EHR Support Specialist/EHR Coordinator

Required Experience

•Minimum 5 years’ Experience with Electronic Health Record platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen.

•Proficiency with healthcare interoperability standards including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI.

•Experience validating structured clinical data and troubleshooting EHR integration issues.

•Ability to interpret clinical workflows and map them to data exchange requirements

•Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.

•Knowledge of HIPAA and health information privacy/security requirements.

•Experience supporting HIE onboarding, healthcare interoperability projects, or multi-vendor EHR environments.

•Experience with SQL, interface engines, or data mapping tools.

•Familiarity with state or federal digital health programs such as NC HIEA initiatives, Medicaid QPHE, or NCQA DAV.

•Experience working with rural or underserved provider settings.
