About the Position

We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and tech-savvy Junior IT & AI Support Specialist to support our team's day-to-day technology needs. This role is ideal for someone with basic computer and software knowledge who is interested in learning more about IT systems, Microsoft applications, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The right candidate does not need to be an IT expert. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with technology, enjoys solving problems, learns quickly, and is excited about using new software and AI tools to improve business operations.

This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Arizona or Texas and be available for occasional business travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support for computers, software, and everyday technology issues.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Help set up software, user accounts, and technology for new employees.
• Use and assist with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Grok.
• Help identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Troubleshoot basic software and computer issues and document solutions.
• Assist with software updates, technology organization, and general IT administration.
• Research new technology tools and help implement solutions.
• Communicate with team members to resolve technical questions and support daily operations.
• Travel occasionally for company meetings, training, or on-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with common business software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365.
• Basic familiarity with AI tools or a strong interest in learning how to use them.
• Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new software and technology quickly.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and an appropriate home workspace.
• Must reside in Arizona or Texas.
• Must be willing to travel occasionally for business purposes.

Preferred, but not required:

• Previous IT support, help desk, or technical customer service experience.
• IT coursework, certifications, or relevant technical training.
• Familiarity with Windows computers, software troubleshooting, or basic networking.
• Experience using AI tools to assist with research, writing, or workflow improvement.

Compensation & Work Environment

• Annual salary of $30,000–$35,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
• Remote work flexibility within Arizona or Texas.
• Hands-on experience with business technology, Microsoft software, and AI tools.
