NetOps Engineer - Journeyman with Security Clearance

Journeyman NetOps Engineer Responsibilities include: • Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc.) • Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN). • Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization. • Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.   • Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities. • Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies. • This position requires flexibility to support 24x7 Network Operations including 12 hour shifts as required.

Minimum Qualifications: • Current DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) IAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ce, CCNA Security, CySA+, etc.) • CCNA • Education: HS Diploma and 5+ years of experience • Clearance:  Secret
