Senior Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Jersey City, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Facilitate discussions with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and drive alignment
• Communicate complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
• Influence conversations and guide teams toward informed decisions and actionable outcomes
• Translate business needs into user stories and functional requirements

Agile Delivery Support

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Create, manage, and maintain user stories using Avio/ADIO or similar tools
• Partner with development, QA, and product teams to support successful solution delivery

AI & Process Optimization

• Utilize AI tools to improve productivity and streamline day-to-day activities
• Identify opportunities for AI-driven efficiencies and process improvements
• Collaborate with teams to evaluate and implement practical AI-enabled solutions

Domain Support

• Support applications and workflows related to fraud prevention, investigation, or compliance functions
• Assist with business processes tied to shipment tracking, package movement, logistics, and operational systems
• Quickly develop expertise in new business domains, technologies, and applications

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience working in Agile environments
• Experience writing and managing user stories
• Working knowledge of Avio/ADIO or similar Agile management tools
• Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to learn new business processes and technologies quickly
• Experience supporting fraud applications, logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments preferred
• Familiarity with AI tools and emerging technologies strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
