Job Description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established company.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £33,000 - £42,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

Location: Nottingham.

They are a well-established and highly respected fire and security company based in Nottingham. The company provide reliable, professional, and high-quality security solutions across the East Midlands, working with a wide range of commercial clients.

Having built a strong reputation for professionalism, quality workmanship, and dependable service, particularly within the education sector, where they support schools, colleges, and universities with safe, secure, and tailored solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an experiencedFire & Security EngineerorAccess Control/Security Engineerto join their friendly and professional team.

About The Role:

This is a varied and rewarding role where you will be carrying out the installation, servicing, and commissioning of security and life safety systems across commercial environments.

Your work may include:

Access control systems

Automated gates and barriers

CCTV

Roller shutters

Intruder alarms

Fire alarm systems

Automatic doors

Door entry systems

Experience in at least one of these key areas is required, and full training will be provided across other disciplines. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to broaden their skill set while working for a supportive and reputable company.

Candidate Requirements:

The company are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and takes pride in their work. The ideal candidate will have:

Hands-on experience in at least one of the above-named disciplines

Experience with servicing, installation, or commissioning

A hardworking and flexible approach

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer-facing skills

A full UK driving licence

Own basic hand tools

A good standard of spoken and written English

Willingness to complete a DBS check, arranged by the company
