CyberArk SME/Senior Security Engineer - £520/day via Umbrella - 1 month Contract - Remote - SCC Flex Contract

We are seeking an experienced CyberArk SME/Senior Security Engineer to support the design, implementation, administration, and optimisation of enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled CyberArk SME/Senior Security Engineer to join a fast-paced security programme, delivering hands-on engineering expertise whilst contributing to solution design and security best practices.

Your responsibilities as the CyberArk SME/Senior Security Engineer:

• Lead the deployment, configuration, administration, and support of CyberArk PAM platforms.
• Manage and optimise CyberArk components including EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, and PTA.
• Onboard privileged accounts, service accounts, applications, databases, network devices, and cloud platforms into CyberArk.
• Configure password rotation policies, privileged workflows, session management controls, and approval processes.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, troubleshooting, health checks, and performance optimisation activities.
• Integrate CyberArk with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, cloud platforms, SIEM solutions, ITSM tooling, and identity governance platforms.
• Develop and maintain automation using PowerShell, REST APIs, or Python where appropriate.
• Support privileged access reviews, security audits, compliance initiatives, and account hardening activities.
• Contribute to High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Low-Level Designs (LLDs) for PAM solutions.
• Provide technical expertise during design workshops and project delivery activities.
• Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with security architects, infrastructure teams, operational support teams, and key stakeholders.

As a successful CyberArk SME/Senior Security Engineer, you will have:

• Proven experience as a CyberArk SME/Senior Security Engineer within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Extensive hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM including EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP, and PTA.
• Strong experience onboarding privileged identities across Windows, Linux/Unix, databases, network devices, and cloud services.
• Excellent knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Experience integrating CyberArk with SIEM, ITSM, and IAM platforms.
• PowerShell Scripting and automation experience.
• Strong understanding of PAM best practices, privileged access governance, and Zero Trust security principles.
• Experience supporting regulated or security-focused environments.
• Knowledge of secure-by-design principles and technical solution documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within project teams.
