About the Role

Lead a team building a context platform for an AI-powered data analytics product. The platform helps users understand and improve how AI agents work with business data, making their results more useful and reliable.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the engineering team responsible for the context platform.

  • Set technical strategy, review designs, and contribute directly to implementation.

  • Manage and support engineers, set a high bar, and help the team do its best work.

  • Recruit and develop engineering talent.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 6 years of full-stack software engineering experience, including 2 or more years as an engineering manager.

  • Experience managing teams of 3 to 15 engineers and leading engineering for a technical product.

  • Recent hands-on experience building an agentic or AI-native product.

  • Proficiency in TypeScript; experience with React, Postgres, and Python is valuable.

  • Experience in a high-growth startup and a technical product environment, such as data tools or developer tools.

  • A computer science degree, equivalent technical degree, or comparable technical foundations.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $221,000 to $295,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

Hybrid, with the primary location in San Francisco, California. New York, New York is also listed as a work location.
