Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a complex and dynamic environment. This role requires deep expertise in Cisco networking technologies, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to lead network modernization and infrastructure initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced knowledge of routing, switching, network security, wireless technologies, and data center networking. Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls is highly preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise-wide LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center network infrastructure.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching environments.
  • Lead network architecture initiatives, upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization efforts.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain network security controls, including segmentation, access control, and secure connectivity solutions.
  • Support VPN, SD-WAN, QoS, and high-availability network solutions.
  • Collaborate with security, systems, cloud, and application teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and operational procedures.
  • Perform root cause analysis for critical network incidents and provide recommendations for long-term improvements.
  • Participate in capacity planning, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging networking technologies and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior network engineers and support personnel.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and support activities as required.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Cisco network technologies and best practices.
  • Strong experience with:
    • Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms
    • Cisco ISR and ASR routing platforms
    • Routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
    • VLANs, STP, HSRP, VRRP, and multicast technologies
    • Wireless networking and Cisco wireless solutions
    • Network monitoring and analysis tools
    • VPN technologies and secure remote access
    • SD-WAN technologies
    • DNS, DHCP, NTP, and other core networking services
  • Strong understanding of network security principles and architectures.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Required Certifications

Candidates must possess one or more of the following Cisco certifications:
  • CCNP Enterprise (Required)
  • CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (Preferred)
  • Equivalent advanced Cisco certification may be considered


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including:
    • Security policies
    • NAT configuration
    • GlobalProtect VPN
    • Threat Prevention
    • Panorama management
  • Palo Alto certifications such as:
    • PCNSA
    • PCNSE
  • Experience supporting cloud networking environments in Azure and/or AWS.
  • Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, REST APIs).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture and modern security frameworks.
  • Experience in highly available and mission-critical enterprise environments.
