Job Title: Senior Data Engineer
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong software engineering and cloud experience, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building data solutions using Python and working with cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data processing solutions.
• Develop data engineering applications using Python.
• Build and support data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Work with cloud services, APIs, databases, and data processing technologies.
• Apply strong software engineering practices including coding, testing, debugging, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business teams.
• Troubleshoot performance and data quality issues.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Python development experience.
• Strong Data Engineering experience.
• Good Software Engineering background.
• Hands-on Cloud experience.
• Google Cloud Platform experience preferred.
• Experience building and supporting data pipelines.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
