Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Kafka, and enterprise application development to support a Telecom Quotation and Pricing Engine.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing applications and services supporting pricing, quotation, discounts, credits, offers, promotions, rating, and charging processes. Strong telecom domain experience, particularly with CPQ, Product Catalog, Pricing Engines, Rating & Charging platforms, is highly preferred.

The candidate will work closely with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and onshore/offshore development teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java/Spring Boot applications for enterprise telecom platforms.

• Develop and enhance Microservices supporting quotation, pricing, rating, charging, discounts, credits, and offers.

• Design and develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs for quotation and pricing workflows.

• Implement complex pricing rules, business rules, discount logic, credit calculations, and promotional offers.

• Develop services for generating accurate and real-time customer quotations.

• Build and maintain rating and charging workflows for telecom products and services.

• Integrate quotation, pricing, rating, and charging services with upstream and downstream enterprise systems.

• Develop event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.

• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Spring Security, and related security frameworks.

• Develop unit, integration, and API tests using JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot Test, and Postman.

• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.

• Participate in design and code reviews and follow clean coding, SOLID, and enterprise design principles.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA, DevOps, and offshore/onshore development teams.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Contribute to application performance, scalability, reliability, and high-volume transaction processing.
