Senior Operations Analyst (Loans & Multi-Asset)

G MASS are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join the London Operations team at a leading global alternative asset manager, settling trades and managing lifecycle events across a broad multi-asset book, while bringing specialist expertise in syndicated loans.

This is an initial contract, offering genuine breadth across equities, futures, derivatives, credit, bonds and loans, with a role that straddles both settlements and corporate actions. You'll join a well-regarded Operations function as the team's go-to expert on loans, owning loan operations end to end and helping colleagues build their knowledge. It's an excellent opportunity for a high-performing operations professional to broaden their expertise across products and processes while making a visible impact from day one.

Responsibilities

• Settle market trades across equities, futures, derivatives, credit and bonds, monitoring settlement status and chasing and resolving fails with brokers, counterparties and custodians
• Process corporate actions and lifecycle events across equities, fixed income, derivatives and loans, helping identify and close operational gaps across the portfolio
• Take ownership of loan operations, managing primary and secondary syndicated loan trades from trade capture through to close, including processing on ClearPar
• Handle agent notices and loan events including rollovers, paydowns, rate resets, amendments and restructurings, reconciling positions and cash against agent, trustee and administrator records
• Act as the team's subject matter expert on loans, upskilling colleagues and strengthening their understanding of loan systems, flows and market conventions
• Build strong relationships with portfolio management, trading, administrators, agents and global operations colleagues, operating within information-barrier protocols where required

• 5 years'+ experience in settlements, corporate actions or trade operations at an investment bank or investment manager
• Strong hands-on experience of syndicated loan settlement or loan closing, including ClearPar and LSTA/LMA conventions
• Exposure to settlements or corporate actions across other asset classes such as equities, derivatives or fixed income
• The experience and judgement to handle non-standard events and explain processes clearly to others
• A high-performing track record, with the ambition to broaden your expertise across products
