SEN / SEND Tutor | Chalfont Saint Giles, United Kingdom | Hybrid | £28 - £35 per hour

We are seeking passionate educators to join our impactful community, dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will have the opportunity to work flexibly and creatively to make a significant difference in your community.

The Role

• Provide in-person, online, or hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
• Support pupils across KS1-KS5, referred by local authorities and schools.
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring sessions.
• Report on lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress.
• Contribute to raising the standard of education for vulnerable young people.

What You'll Need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS).
• 2+ years of teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, and/or Science.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
