Validation Engineer

Pay Range: $78 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• Drive post-silicon validation by bringing up and validating SoC IPs on first silicon and platform boards.
• Develop and execute comprehensive post-silicon test plans covering critical components such as Clock, Reset, Ethernet, and I/O controllers.
• Utilize tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG/DFx for debugging silicon failures.
• Perform root-cause analysis of post-silicon bugs and collaborate with design and firmware teams for resolution.
• Characterize IP performance under varying voltage, frequency, and temperature (VFT) conditions.
• Create and maintain automated test frameworks for regression and production testing.
• Author and maintain validation documentation, including test plans and debug reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements in validation methodology.
• Interface with IP vendors for third-party IP integration and compliance

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 4 10 years of experience in SoC validation (pre-silicon and/or post-silicon).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering [Required].
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering [Required].
• PhD or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering [Required].
• Deep understanding of SoC architecture and IP integration concepts.
• Experience with Networking ASICs and test authoring/writing is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with general CPU/GPU/AI-accelerator ASIC experience is also valuable.
• Post-silicon validation experience is a must; pre-silicon experience is a plus.
