InfoSec Engineer

Job Title: InfoSec Engineer
Location: Reston, VA/hybrid
Duration: Long term

Description: 
SSO Datastore (Ping Directory) upgrades, operational support, maintenance, security updates, custom solutions.

Must-have skills:
Hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting PingDirectory in AWS
Strong knowledge of LDAP, directory schema, indexes, replication, referrals, access controls, and directory data modeling.
Experience troubleshooting directory issues, optimizing searches, tuning indexes, analyzing logs, and supporting high-volume authentication workloads.
Experience with directory migrations, LDIF exports/imports, data cleanup, synchronization, backup/restore, and disaster recovery planning.
Strong understanding of TLS/SSL, certificates, password policies, access control rules, secure bind patterns, service accounts, and IAM integrations.
Experience running or supporting PingDirectory on Kubernetes, Docker, or other cloud/container platforms

Good-to-have skills:
Familiarity with PingFederate, PingAccess, or other IAM products integrated with PingDirectory.
Experience with Shell, Python, or similar tools to automate directory administration, monitoring, and operational tasks
