What we are looking for: Looking for a mid-to-senior Business Analyst (4 8 yrs) with hands-on cyber resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery experience, ideally from a large enterprise or airline/travel background. Must be strong in requirements elicitation, process mapping (Visio), UAT, and Jira/HP QC, with exposure to SAP, POS, or distributed systems. 100% onsite in Washington, DC no remote. CBAP/CBCP/CRISC certification is a plus. OPT candidates are not fit for this role due to the seniority, domain depth, and 12-month onsite requirement.

Job Description

• Seeking a skilled Cyber Resilience Business Analyst to join a high-priority project with our enterprise client in Washington, DC. In this role, you will bridge traditional business analysis and enterprise resilience strategies supporting end-to-end cyber resiliency planning, business continuity, disaster recovery coordination, and operational readiness across the organization. Serving as a key liaison between technical leads, business teams, and executive stakeholders, you will facilitate workshops, analyze processes, manage requirements, and design solutions to ensure the organization can prepare for, withstand, recover from, and adapt to cyber disruptions.

Key Responsibilities

• Cyber Resiliency & Readiness: Support organizational resilience planning, business continuity, and cyber recovery coordination to maintain operational readiness across critical systems and distributed applications.
• Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Lead end-to-end requirements engineering including gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing traceability for functional, technical, and business specifications.
• Process Modeling & Optimization: Map end-to-end business processes, workflows, sequence diagrams, and activity models to identify vulnerabilities and drive continuous process improvements.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test cases and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate solution performance, operational readiness, and alignment with resilience objectives.
• Exercise & Program Execution: Coordinate resilience testing, tabletop exercises, and readiness assessments to evaluate disaster recovery capabilities and operational impact.
• Metrics, Reporting & Governance: Establish resilience metrics, track operational KPIs, deliver executive status reports, and ensure strict compliance with organizational policies, controls, and risk frameworks.
• Stakeholder Management & Training: Facilitate multi-disciplinary workshops, deliver presentations, manage change adoption, and produce comprehensive user documentation and training materials.

Required Qualifications

• Experience & Expertise: 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise IT systems, business continuity, or cyber resilience initiatives.
• Methodology & Tools: Proficiency in formal Business Analysis methodologies, process mapping software (MS Visio), and requirements management modules (e.g., HP Quality Center, Jira, or similar).
• Technical Breadth: Exposure to enterprise software ecosystems, including SAP, Ariba, point-of-sale (POS) systems, kiosk tech, mobile applications, and distributed environments.
• Communication & Facilitation: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a proven track record of facilitating stakeholder workshops and presenting to cross-functional teams.
• Independent Execution: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to drive project deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or related risk/resilience certifications (e.g., CBCP, CRISC).
• Industry Experience: Familiarity with Travel, Airline, or large-scale enterprise system environments.

Education: Bachelor s degree in business administration, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
