System Administrator(W2 and 1099)

Role: System Administrator

Duration: This is 6-12 months.

Location: on-site 5 days in Marlborough, MA.

Interview: In-person after phone 


Key points of this position are Cisco UCS experience and strong Exchange admin experience, onprem and cloud


Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of server system administration experience.
• Experience with VMware or similar virtualization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools using PowerShell/Automox
• A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategies and plans.
• Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Demonstrated leadership and personnel/project management skills

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in relevant fields, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
