Job Description

Project Introduction
The Office of Performance Analysis and Integrity manages and enhances the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) which resides on one Oracle M8 Supercluster database and thirteen application servers.  Our team provides the technical services required to sustain EDW applications to include Project Management, Data Warehouse Management, Advanced Analytics, Tableau Server Administration/Tableau Desktop Administration, Technical Collaboration Support, Lessons Learned, Executive Orders and Special Projects, Architectural Enhancement, and Cloud Migration. We also provide management, enhancement, integration, implementation, maintenance, modernization, and infrastructure support for EDW applications and enhancement and maintenance of business intelligence capabilities and predictive analytics.  
 
9th Way Insignia is looking for a Senior Program Analyst to join our team.  

Professional Level
The Senior Program Analyst aligns to the Senior Consultant professional level within 9 th Way Insignia’s career families.  A Senior Consultant completes tasks and projects of moderate scope and complexity. A Sr. Consultant exercises the best judgement and problem-solving skills within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action to execute assignments. Sr. Consultant will also provide guidance and/or lead on tasks/projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager, team, and stakeholders by collecting, compiling, and analyzing data to evaluate the business processes and programs. 
  • As part of an Agile team, support continuous improvement efforts by identifying new data sources, gathering, and analyzing relevant data to evaluate potential or new processes and/or requirements.  
  • Support program deliverables development and updates, and as appropriate, generate applicable deliverables.  
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand and document existing and emerging business requirements; work with team to ensure requirements are being included in future sprint activities.  
  • Participate in team calls and meetings. 
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and oversight of less experienced Program Analysts. 
  • Provide accurate and timely status reports on the progress of assigned tasks. 
  • Support the development of documentation related to team activities and enhancements, particularly related to customer requirements development.  
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes and procedures and participate in period reviews of existing processes.  
  • Collaborate with staff and the Program Manager to prioritize requests for ad hoc report development.   
  • Collaborate with team members on metadata management and integration of process assets to ensure data consistency and accuracy. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business discipline, an additional 8 years of experience considered in lieu of degree. 
  • 10 + years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required security clearance. 

Location

Five days per week onsite at 1800 G St, NW Washington, DC 20006
