PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER
Our client is looking for a contractor Product Marketing Manager
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a versatile, hands-on product marketer who can operate across product strategy, customer insights, positioning and messaging, go-to-market, and enablement.
The ideal candidate has experience in digital advertising, ad tech, marketing technology, analytics, measurement, reporting, or related platforms. Experience with advertiser-facing diagnostics, reporting, planning, or insights products is particularly relevant.
This person should be comfortable working with Product Management and cross-functional teams, synthesizing complex technical concepts into simple customer-facing narratives, developing high-quality marketing and enablement assets, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving product environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER, MARKET & COMPETITIVE INSIGHTS
  • Gather and synthesize advertiser, market, and competitive insights to identify customer needs, product opportunities, and potential barriers to adoption.
  • Partner with Product Management and customer-facing teams to incorporate advertiser feedback into product and go-to-market planning.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and relevant competitive offerings.

PRODUCT POSITIONING & MESSAGING
  • Develop clear positioning, value propositions, messaging, and proof points for Microsoft Advertising products and capabilities.
  • Translate technical product functionality into compelling advertiser benefits and use cases.
  • Create customer-facing and internal narratives that simplify complex advertising concepts.

GO-TO-MARKET & PRODUCT LAUNCHES
  • Support go-to-market planning and execution for new products, features, pilots, and platform capabilities.
  • Partner across Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to drive launch readiness and product adoption.
  • Develop launch materials, presentations, FAQs, messaging frameworks, and other supporting assets.

ENABLEMENT & CROSS-FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT
  • Develop high-quality enablement assets, including pitch decks, product overviews, training materials, and sales resources.
  • Support stakeholder education on product roadmaps, positioning, customer value, and key product changes.
  • Work collaboratively across teams and flex across Microsoft Advertising platform priorities as business needs evolve.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Product marketing, product management, strategy, or related experience in digital advertising, ad tech, marketing technology, or SaaS/platform products.
  • Understanding of advertiser workflows and concepts such as campaign performance, reporting, analytics, measurement, diagnostics, optimization, or media planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical or complex concepts.
  • Experience partnering with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to create polished presentations, messaging, and customer-facing or sales-enablement materials.
  • Comfortable operating independently, managing ambiguity, and adapting quickly to changing priorities.

Must-Have Skill-Set Requirements
  • Product marketing / go-to-market strategy - 5+ years: Experience developing positioning, messaging, value propositions, GTM strategies, and product launch plans.
  • Digital advertising / ad tech - 3+ years: Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, advertiser needs, products, and competitive landscape.
  • Customer & market insights - 3+ years: Experience synthesizing customer feedback, market research, competitive intelligence, and performance signals into actionable product and marketing recommendations.
