We have a hot requirement for a REMOTE Senior Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience and strong RBDMS/Oil & Gas regulatory domain expertise.

Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will support complex technology and mainframe transformation initiatives for the Railroad Commission of Texas, with a focus on requirements analysis, legacy-system analysis, business-process improvement, technical documentation, data migration, data modeling, UAT, and production support.
Mandatory Requirements
Candidates must have:
  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience on software development projects
  • 3+ years of recent RBDMS (Risk Based Data Management System) / Oil & Gas regulatory experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling
  • Mainframe/COBOL experience
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Data migration experience
  • Production support / root-cause analysis experience
  • Experience with business and functional requirements, technical specifications, design documentation, and process modeling
  • Experience facilitating sessions with business and cross-functional teams
  • Experience supporting UAT, training, implementation, and production activities
  • Strong technical writing, communication, analytical, and presentation skills
Preferred Skills
  • Azure DevOps
  • Visio / SnagIt / Adobe Illustrator / Axure
  • Data Warehouse / Data Lake
  • SSIS / ETL
  • Snowflake
  • Process improvement methodologies
  • Oil & Gas compliance/enforcement projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • CCBA / CBAP or similar certification
