We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Manufacturing Operations to support data-driven decision-making across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Finance. This role is responsible for analyzing manufacturing and operational data, developing executive dashboards, and providing actionable insights to improve plant performance, inventory management, production efficiency, and overall operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP ERP, Siemens MES, Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel, along with a strong background in manufacturing analytics within a regulated environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other FDA-regulated industries.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst – Manufacturing Operations to support data-driven decision-making across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Finance. This role is responsible for analyzing manufacturing and operational data, developing executive dashboards, and providing actionable insights to improve plant performance, inventory management, production efficiency, and overall operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP ERP, Siemens MES, Power BI, SQL, and Advanced Excel, along with a strong background in manufacturing analytics within a regulated environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other FDA-regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing, inventory, supply chain, and production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Extract, validate, and interpret data from SAP ERP, Siemens MES, data warehouses, and other manufacturing systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and automated reports using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau, and Advanced Excel.
- Monitor key manufacturing metrics, including production throughput, cycle time, capacity utilization, inventory accuracy, material consumption, scrap, yield, and schedule adherence.
- Perform variance analysis, including Purchase Price Variance (PPV), manufacturing cost variances, and inventory performance reporting.
- Support inventory optimization by analyzing raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, inventory aging, and material utilization.
- Reconcile manufacturing transactions between SAP ERP and Siemens MES while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct trend analysis, root cause analysis, and forecasting to support operational and strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Plant Leadership to improve business processes and operational performance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports and executive-level presentations.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor''s degree in Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
- 3–7+ years of experience in Manufacturing Analytics, Operations Analysis, Supply Chain Analytics, Manufacturing Planning, or Business Intelligence.
- Experience working in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other FDA-regulated manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, production planning, and supply chain processes.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the Medical Device industry.
- Knowledge of FDA and ISO 13485 manufacturing standards.
- SAP Certification, CBAP, APICS CPIM/CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
- Experience with SAP BW/HANA, SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Python, or AI-driven analytics tools is preferred.
