Job Description: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant
Location: New York - Onsite


Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary onsite point of contact for integration-related activities.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into technical integration designs.
  • Lead customer workshops, solution design sessions, and integration strategy discussions.
  • Design, develop, and implement complex integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Build integrations using REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, database, file-based, ERP Cloud, and HCM Cloud adapters.
  • Define integration architecture, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.
  • Integrate Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM, and third-party applications.
  • Manage the complete integration lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.
  • Conduct code reviews, validate technical designs, and mentor offshore development teams.
  • Implement exception handling, monitoring, logging, and security mechanisms.
  • Support release planning, cutover, migration, and production deployments.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, stakeholder communication, and executive-level status reporting.
Required Technical Skills
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Gen2/Gen3
  • Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and EPM integrations
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle ATP Database
  • FBDI, HDL, and UCM integrations
  • REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, JSON, XML, XSLT, and XPath
  • API-led, event-based, and file-based integration architectures
  • FTP/SFTP, database, ERP Cloud, and HCM Cloud adapters
  • Integration monitoring, error handling, and exception management
  • OAuth 2.0, SAML, JWT, and Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS)
Preferred Skills
  • Oracle SOA Suite / Oracle Service Bus (OSB)
  • Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
  • Oracle Process Automation
  • Oracle Managed File Transfer (MFT)
  • CI/CD, Git, and DevOps practices
  • Oracle Integration Cloud and OCI certifications
Required Experience
  • 12–14 years of IT experience with strong hands-on Oracle Integration Cloud expertise.
  • Experience in at least 2–3 Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation programs.
  • Proven experience integrating Oracle Cloud applications with third-party systems.
  • Experience leading onsite-offshore delivery teams.
  • Ability to independently manage customer workshops and stakeholder discussions.
  • Experience working with global delivery and production support models.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud certification is preferred.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification is an added advantage.
