Position: Sage 100 to Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6 to 12+ months

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sage 100 to Sage Intacct Implementation Consultant to lead and support a migration from Sage 100 to Sage Intacct. This individual will be responsible for data extraction, cleansing, migration, configuration, testing, and go-live support. The ideal candidate has successfully completed multiple Sage Intacct implementations and possesses strong accounting, ERP, and data conversion experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end migration from Sage 100 to Sage Intacct.

Analyze existing Sage 100 configurations, workflows, and financial data structures.

Perform data extraction, transformation, and migration activities, including:

o General Ledger

o Accounts Payable

o Accounts Receivable

o Customer and Vendor Master Data

o Open Transactions

o Historical Financial Data

Create and execute data dumps, imports, and reconciliation processes.

Configure Sage Intacct modules based on business requirements.

Develop migration strategies and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy.

Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and system testing.

Train end users and provide post-implementation support.

Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices.

Collaborate with accounting, finance, IT, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Troubleshoot migration, integration, and reporting issues as needed.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of ERP implementation experience.

Proven experience completing multiple Sage 100 to Sage Intacct migrations.

Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct configuration and deployment.

Strong expertise in data extraction, cleansing, mapping, and migration.

Experience performing large-scale data dumps and imports.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.

Experience with ERP integrations and reporting tools.

Ability to reconcile migrated financial data and ensure accuracy.

Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Sage Intacct Implementation Certification preferred.

CPA, Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems background preferred.

Experience with multi-entity environments.

Experience integrating third-party applications with Sage Intacct.

SQL querying and data analysis experience.
