Job title: Alteryx Developer
Location: Richmond, Virginia (Remote)
Role Overview
Our organization is expanding its analytics, forecasting, and operational intelligence capabilities. We are seeking an Alteryx Engineer to manage the full lifecycle of analytics automation and data integration solutions. This role involves building and supporting scalable data workflows, applications, and integrations that drive reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and enterprise analytics within a cross-functional Agile team.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, enhance, and maintain complex Alteryx workflows, applications, and macros.
• Develop ETL/ELT pipelines for analytics, reporting, and financial processes.
• Troubleshoot monthly costing workflows and support development enhancements.
• Build and maintain integrations with systems such as Workday, Adaptive Insights, Tableau, and PostgreSQL.
• Support analytics solutions across multi-environment Alteryx Server instances.
• Work with AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, RDS/Aurora, Lambda, Glue) to build and scale data solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with architects, developers, and product owners.
• Serve as an escalation point for workflow failures and data quality issues.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer, including workflows, macros, and automation.
Technical Skills:

• Experience with Alteryx Server, preferably a recent cloud version.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience working within an AWS environment.
• Experience with REST APIs and integration patterns.
• Understanding of ETL, data modeling, and data warehousing practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Alteryx Designer certifications.
• Experience with Tableau for dashboarding.
• Experience with tools such as Workday or Adaptive Insights.
• Familiarity with additional cloud services like AWS Lambda, Glue, and Aurora.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, or Jenkins.
• Experience with cost modeling or financial analytics.
