Senior Full Stack Developer / Engineer (Java / Angular / AWS)

Randstad is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (Java / Angular / AWS) to join a high-impact team for a key client in Washington, DC. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and modern web applications while leveraging cutting-edge AWS cloud services and event-driven architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, taking end-to-end ownership of full-stack feature delivery, automated CI/CD pipelines, and application observability to drive key client initiatives.

responsibilities:

Architect, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

Design and build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular.

Build and maintain serverless and containerized cloud applications on AWS utilizing Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.

Configure and support core AWS infrastructure, including API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, and Secrets Manager.

Implement event-driven architectures and messaging systems to ensure seamless asynchronous processing.

Automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance and observability using Dynatrace and enterprise tooling.

Collaborate using GitHub for version control and leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance development efficiency.

qualifications:

High proficiency in Angular and modern web technologies.

Strong programming foundation in Java and Python.

Extensive hands-on experience in Spring Boot microservice development and RESTful API design.

Demonstrated experience with core AWS services, including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Amazon ECS.

Practical knowledge of AWS networking and application services (API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, EventBridge, Secrets Manager).

Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.

Experience with GitHub, version control workflows, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.

Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe tools, GitHub Copilot, or Ionic is a major plus.
