Mobile Automation Tester

Job Summary

We are looking for a Mobile Automation Tester with hands-on experience testing Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in mobile application testing, automation frameworks, and defect management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for Android and iOS applications.

• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of mobile applications.

• Develop and maintain mobile automation scripts using tools such as Appium.

• Validate application functionality across different mobile devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.

• Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.

• Analyze test failures and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

• Execute manual testing when required and support automation efforts.

• Participate in test planning, test case creation, execution, and reporting.

• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business teams in an Agile environment.

• Maintain automation frameworks and improve test coverage and reliability.

Required Skills

• Experience testing Android and iOS applications.

• Hands-on experience with mobile automation testing.

• Experience with Appium or similar mobile automation tools.

• Strong understanding of QA processes and testing methodologies.

• Experience with functional and regression testing.

• Knowledge of API testing is a plus.

• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Selenium, Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Experience testing native, hybrid, or mobile web applications.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
