Duties and Responsibilities

SAP BRIM Development.

·      Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP BRIM technical solutions across SOM, CI, CC, and FI-CA.

·      Develop custom enhancements, interfaces, workflows, forms, APIs, and automation solutions supporting enterprise billing and revenue management processes.

·      Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

·      Support enterprise subscription-based and usage-based billing models.

SOM Development Support.

·      Develop and enhance SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM) processes and integrations.

·      Support subscription lifecycle management including:

o   Order capture.

o   Contract modifications.

o   Fulfillment integrations.

o   Subscription management workflows.

·      Develop APIs and integrations supporting order orchestration and provisioning processes.

Convergent Charging (CC) Development.

·      Develop and support charging and rating configurations and customizations.

·      Support:

o   Usage-based billing.

o   Rating logic.

o   Mediation integration.

o   Pricing and charging frameworks.

·      Optimize charging performance for high-volume transaction processing environments.

Convergent Invoicing (CI) Development.

·      Develop and support invoicing, billing aggregation, and financial posting processes.

·      Enhance invoice generation, formatting, reconciliation, and billing integration functionality.

·      Support custom billing workflows and invoicing automation.

FICA Development Support.

·      Develop and support SAP FICA technical solutions related to:

o   Customer account management.

o   Payment processing.

o   Collections and dunning.

o   Financial postings.

o   Dispute management.

o   Account reconciliation.

·      Support integration with SAP S/4HANA Finance and related enterprise systems.

Technical Development & Integration.

·      Develop technical objects including:

o   ABAP programs.

o   BADIs.

o   User exits.

o   Enhancements.

o   RFCs.

o   OData services.

o   APIs and web services.

·      Support integrations between SAP BRIM and:

o   SAP S/4HANA.

o   CRM/CX platforms.

o   Middleware and integration platforms.

o   Third-party billing and payment systems.

·      Collaborate with the integration architects and middleware teams on interface development.

Testing & Quality Assurance.

·      Develop and execute:

o   Unit testing.

o   Integration testing.

o   System testing.

o   User acceptance testing (UAT).

·      Support defect analysis, debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

·      Ensure solution quality, scalability, and operational stability.

Performance Optimization & Production Support.

·      Analyze and optimize application performance and transaction processing efficiency.

·      Support monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response activities.

·      Participate in deployments, cutovers, maintenance windows, and production support.

·      Assist with performance tuning for high-volume billing and charging environments.

Documentation & Governance.

·      Create and maintain:

o   Technical specifications.

o   Interface documentation.

o   Operational procedures.

o   Development standards.

o   Technical runbooks.

·      Ensure adherence to enterprise development standards, security requirements, and governance processes.

Collaboration & Knowledge Transfer.

·      Collaborate with:

o   SAP BRIM architects.

o   Functional consultants.

o   Data migration teams.

o   BASIS administrators.

o   Infrastructure teams.

o   Business stakeholders.

·      Participate in architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and Agile ceremonies.

·      Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Experience for Junior Role

·      2+ years of SAP technical development experience.

·      1+ years of direct SAP BRIM development experience.

Experience for Developer Role

·      3-7 years of SAP technical development experience.

·      2+ years of direct SAP BRIM development experience.

Experience for Senior Role

·      7+ years of SAP technical development experience.

·      3+ years of direct SAP BRIM development experience.

Required Qualifications

•                              Proven experience supporting enterprise billing and revenue management solutions.

•                              Strong understanding of subscription-based and usage-based billing processes.

•                              Hands-on experience developing and supporting:

o   SAP SOM.

o   SAP CI.

o   SAP CC.

o   SAP FI-CA.

•                              Strong ABAP development experience including:

o   Enhancements.

o   User exits.

o   BADIs.

o   APIs.

o   OData services.

o   Workflow integrations.

•                              Experience with:

o   SAP HANA.

o   SAP S/4HANA integrations.

o   Middleware and API integrations.

o   Performance tuning and troubleshooting.

•                              Strong understanding of:

o   SAP architecture.

o   Billing and invoicing processes.

o   Financial integration concepts.

o   Enterprise integration patterns.

•                              Strong analytical and technical problem-solving abilities.

•                              Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

•                              Experience in utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription-based industries.

•                              Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation programs.

•                              Experience supporting Agile and hybrid delivery methodologies.

•                              Prior consulting or contractor experience in enterprise SAP environments.

Required Certifications

•                              Preferred certifications include one or more of the following:

SAP Certifications.

•                              SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver.

•                              SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management.

•                              SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA.

•                              SAP S/4HANA technical certifications are preferred.

Additional Certifications.

•                              SAP BTP certifications preferred.

•                              Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) preferred.

Education

•                              Bachelor’s degree in:

o   Computer Science.

o   Information Technology.

o   Information Systems.

o   Engineering.

o   Related technical discipline.
