Full Stack Engineer with Claude

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with Claude in Sunnyvale, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
Full Stack Development:
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend services
* Build highly available and performant applications across complex distributed environments
* Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on simplicity and long-term maintainability

AI-Powered Software Engineering:
* Utilize Claude extensively throughout the software development lifecycle
* Leverage AI to reduce code footprint, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and accelerate development cycles
* Use AI-assisted analysis to refactor legacy systems into cleaner, more maintainable architectures
* Apply prompt engineering techniques to maximize engineering productivity and solution quality
* Demonstrate the ability to transform large, complex implementations into concise, elegant solutions
* Use AI to automate documentation, testing, troubleshooting, operational workflows, and repetitive engineering tasks

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering:
* Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows
* Deploy and operate applications in Kubernetes environments
* Support cloud-native architectures across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, AliCloud, or similar platforms
* Manage infrastructure reliability and scalability requirements

Operational Excellence:
* Build and maintain observability dashboards, monitoring solutions, and alerting frameworks
* Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and operational risks
* Drive continuous improvements in service reliability and operational maturity

Incident Response & Root Cause Analysis:
* Lead technical investigations during live production incidents
* Analyze logs, telemetry, traces, and system behavior to rapidly identify root causes

REQUIREMENTS:
Technical Experience:
* 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, Software Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Platform Engineer
* Strong proficiency in Python and Linux shell scripting
* Experience building and operating cloud-native applications
* Deep experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
* Strong understanding of CI/CD, deployment automation, and infrastructure operations
* Proven success supporting production environments and responding to critical incidents

AI Engineering Expertise:
* Demonstrated expert-level experience using Claude for software engineering workflows

Ability to clearly articulate and demonstrate how Claude has improved:
* Development velocity
* Code quality
* System maintainability
* Debugging efficiency
* Operational effectiveness

* Experience using AI to generate cleaner, shorter, and more maintainable code
* Strong prompt engineering skills for technical problem solving
* Proven ability to partner with AI tools while maintaining sound engineering judgment and code quality standards

Problem Solving:
* Exceptional debugging and root-cause analysis capabilities
* Ability to work independently in ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
* Strong systems-thinking mindset with attention to scalability, reliability, and operational excellence

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with iOS development and Swift
* Knowledge of mobile-to-cloud architectures
* Experience with Xcode and Instruments
* Experience building internal developer tooling, automation platforms, or AI-powered engineering workflows
* Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into engineering platforms and developer productivity tools
* Experience mentoring engineering teams on effective AI adoption and best practices

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
