The Role

• Operate specialized heavy equipment, including hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders, to move shipping containers on railcars and trucks.
• Safely and efficiently position containers and chassis within the intermodal yard.
• Stack, move, and organize containers according to operational needs.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks and container movements.
• Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Prior experience operating heavy equipment or machinery in a logistics or industrial setting is preferred.
• A strong commitment to safety and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs.
