The Role

• Operate specialized equipment like hostlers, cranes, top loaders, and side loaders to move shipping containers.
• Load and unload containers from railcars and trucks with precision and safety.
• Position and relocate containers within the intermodal yard using hostlers.
• Perform pre- and post-operation equipment inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
• Coordinate with yard personnel and supervisors to manage daily logistics and task execution.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all established protocols and procedures.

What You'll Need

• A valid driver's license is mandatory for this position.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs and climbing ladders/stairs.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
