Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to help deliver projects within the Customer Experience (CX) and Utility Operations (UO) portfolio in the Utilities industry.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

The ideal candidate should have experience managing teams, driving the full project life cycle, managing key objectives, and understanding technical aspects to efficiently manage project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine and define project scope and objectives.
• Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently.
• Prepare budgets based on project scope and resource requirements.
• Track project costs to ensure projects remain within budget.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution.
• Monitor progress following PMO guidelines and KPI metrics and make adjustments as needed.
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the Portfolio Manager and help identify PMO improvement opportunities.

Required Qualifications

• 5 10 years of project management and related experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience working with Agile teams.
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience managing projects through the full life cycle.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Proven financial management experience and familiarity with accrual accounting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and resourcefulness.
• Proven ability to complete projects according to defined scope, budget, and timeline.
• Excellent leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes.
• Comfortable presenting to senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
• Agile certification preferred.
