Job description

We are seeking an experienced PMO Project Manager with strong SAP/ERP project management experience to lead a complex, enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA enhancement initiative for a major public-sector organization in Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of project management experience, a strong background in enterprise SAP/ERP implementations, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams, vendors, stakeholders, project schedules, budgets, and risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple IT projects and coordinate internal and external project teams.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
  • Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, roles, responsibilities, and escalation processes.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and executive leadership.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with System Integrator Project Managers and other interconnected project teams.
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, approvals, and sign-offs.
  • Conduct lessons-learned sessions and recommend process improvements.
  • Ensure project activities follow established PMO standards and methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project/project management experience.
  • Strong experience managing SAP/ERP enterprise projects.
  • Experience managing vendors across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Experience with large-scale, multi-year projects.
  • Expert-level knowledge of MS Project or MS Project Online.
  • Strong experience with project integration, scope, schedule, communication, vendor, and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict-management skills.
  • PMP Certification required.

  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • SAP Datasphere
  • SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC)
  • SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM)
