Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support specialist to provide hands-on technical assistance for end users in San Francisco, California. This is a Contract position supporting onsite operations, with a focus on resolving day-to-day hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings practical experience with Mac systems, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage support requests efficiently.

Responsibilities

Deliver onsite technical assistance for employees experiencing desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues. Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and access problems with an emphasis on Mac-based environments. Manage incoming support requests through the ticketing system and provide timely updates through resolution. Set up, configure, and maintain Mac computers and related workplace technology for end users. Support conference room and meeting technology, including audio visual equipment and Zoom functionality.

Troubleshoot user-reported issues directly at the desk to minimize downtime and maintain productivity. Escalate more complex incidents when necessary while documenting findings and completed actions clearly. Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, or end-user support roles. Working knowledge of Mac OS and hands-on experience supporting Mac computers. Familiarity with ticket-based service desk workflows and issue tracking practices. Ability to perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and user access concerns.

Experience providing onsite support in a business environment that requires attention to detail. Understanding of audio visual tools and Zoom support for meetings and collaboration.
