Project Manager - Capital Markets - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Project Manager - Capital Markets for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of Capital Markets to lead end-to-end project delivery across regulatory and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience partnering with front office teams and line of business stakeholders, along with the ability to manage full project lifecycles from planning through execution and close. This role requires being in the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
• Manage interdependence across programs and ensure alignment with Enterprise change management priorities
• Serve as a liaison between Capital Markets Trading, Analytics, Finance, Risk and other line of business and enterprise support functions
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring awareness, alignment, and understanding of program financials, decisions, and status
• Support regulatory-driven initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with required standards
• Develop high quality project artifacts, documentation, reporting materials, and presentations
• Leverage advanced Teams, Sharepoint, One Note, Project, Excel and PowerPoint skills to analyze data, track progress, and deliver executive ready materials

Requirements:

• 6+ years of project management experience, ideally within financial services
• Solid understanding of Capital Markets products (not required to be an expert but must demonstrate working knowledge)
• Proven ability to work in a matrixed organization, across businesses and functions, and as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, manage expectations, and drive execution
• Experience delivering complex projects within financial services trading and banking environments, with awareness of operational dynamics
• Flexibility in scheduling, working approach, and execution
• Ability to operate in high-pressure environments with changing priorities and work independently
• Advanced proficiency in Teams, Sharepoint, One Note, Project, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired skills:

• Regulatory project experience is preferred
• Experience with Market Risk and/or Model Development is strongly preferred
• PMI PMP certification desired

Pay range: $51.09 - $59.09 per hour
