Project Manager

Description

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead technology-focused initiatives in the Salt Lake City Metro area. This role will coordinate project plans, have technical conversations, and keep stakeholders informed from kickoff through delivery. The ideal candidate brings a strong command of project delivery practices, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast-moving software development environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead multiple concurrent projects by defining scope, building timelines, and driving progress toward key milestones.

Partner with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to align expectations, resolve concerns, and maintain strong working relationships.

Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk plans while identifying issues early and implementing practical solutions.

Facilitate project activities across software development teams using Agile, Scrum, or blended delivery approaches.

Track tasks, dependencies, and deliverables through project management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or comparable tools.

Prepare clear status updates, documentation, and presentations to support informed decision-making among stakeholders.

Coordinate priorities across competing initiatives and adjust plans as business needs evolve.

Promote organized execution and collaborative teamwork within a fast-paced technology environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 3 years of project management experience, ideally supporting software development or technology implementation work.
Solid understanding of project management frameworks and delivery methods, including Agile, Scrum, or hybrid models.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects involving technical teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership, organization, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear and approachable style.
Experience using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, or similar project tracking systems.
PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications are considered an advantage.
