Technical Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate with experience leading enterprise data platform modernization and Databricks migration initiatives, ensuring successful delivery of cloud-based analytics and data transformation programs.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $75/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end Databricks migration programs, including planning, execution, governance, and successful delivery of cloud-based data transformation initiatives.
• Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and resource plans while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, vendors, and executive leadership, to drive project execution.
• Facilitate stakeholder communications, executive status reporting, and decision-making processes throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, compliance, and operational standards during data lake, data warehouse, and analytics platform migrations.
• Support organizational change management efforts and partner with technical teams to translate business requirements into actionable migration and modernization plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
• 8+ years of Technical Project Management experience leading enterprise data, cloud, or analytics transformation programs.
• Proven experience managing Databricks migration projects, including Data Lake migrations, Data Warehouse migrations, and large-scale analytics platform modernization initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Azure Cloud, stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, executive communications, and leading cross-functional technical teams through complex enterprise transformations.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $75.00 per hour
