Job Description

Sales & Market Analyst (US Market)

London | Hybrid | Permanent

Up to £35k + bens

Must haves:

  • Able to work in the UK with no visa sponsorship requirements
  • An interest in the legal world, particularly IP
  • Some work experience in research, data analysis or similar
  • Highly proactive character with examples of showing initiative

We’re working with a global law firm with over 1,000 people across global offices, so you’ll be joining a truly international company where teams work collaboratively across multiple markets and time zones.

They’re looking to hire a Sales & Market Analyst to join their commercial team, with a particular focus on the US market.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is commercially curious, enjoys research, data and understanding what makes markets tick, but also wants to be close to the action and see how insights translate into real business opportunities.

You’ll work closely with senior marketing stakeholders to build a clear picture of the US market, clients and prospects, helping the business identify where the best opportunities lie.

Your role will include:

Researching US markets, sectors, companies and prospects to identify trends and commercial opportunities

Monitoring market and client news and turning it into useful, concise insights

Creating engaging presentations and sales materials for senior stakeholders

Analysing internal data and CRM information to improve targeting and decision-making

This would suit someone who is naturally curious, analytical and commercially minded. You are likely to have a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Law or a related subject and have strong research and analytical skills and some hands on experience.

This role is going to suit a graduate with some industry experience, perhaps a placement year. You’ll need to demonstrate the ability to take lots of information and turn it into a clear story, using PowerPoint and Excel and have an interest in sales, international markets and commercial strategy. You will also ideally have experience with a CRM or an IP intelligence platform.

There’s also plenty of scope to learn, develop and take ownership as you build your commercial career and training will be provided. Stunning offices in London and a range of lovely benefits on offer.
