Job Description

The Tactical Software and Autonomy Solutions (TSAS) team at i3 supports DoD customers in developing cutting-edge autonomy software architectures to distribute autonomous control across a diverse assortment of uncrewed air, ground, surface, and subsurface platforms. The team is seeking an experienced Software Configuration Manager with 10+ years of experience to support the team in organizing and executing software releases across a wide variety of interconnected projects, ensuring successful testing, validation, and deployment to the field.

Responsibilities The candidate will work closely with Government Project Leadership and with Agile software development teams across several vendor organizations to organize and track software releases in support of testing and fielding schedules. Qualifications Education, Experience and Required skills:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or the hard sciences. Additional technical experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Experience creating and managing software releases
  • Extensive experience with scheduling using MS Project
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence,)
  • Strong customer facing background
  • Position Location: In office in Huntsville, AL
  • CONUS Travel required: Less than 20%
  • Active Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain a Clearance
  • Must be a U.S.

  • Regular i3 hours are 8:00 a.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, however, additional hours may be required on occasion. Regular and punctual attendance is required.
