Kforce has a client that is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer in NYC.

Overview

We are seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join a technology team within the financial services industry. This role will focus on enhancing and modernizing Java-based applications that support a high-performance front-office trading environment.
The ideal candidate is a strong Java developer who can contribute hands-on, work independently, and collaborate effectively within an established development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance full-stack Java applications
• Modernize and improve existing Java-based technology platforms
• Build scalable, reliable solutions supporting trading and financial systems
• Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver application enhancements
• Participate in development, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong hands-on Java development and coding experience
• Full-stack application development experience
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with AI technologies and concepts
• Fluent English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with fixed income, trading systems, capital markets, or financial services technology
• Spanish language skills are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
