Job Description

Employee Benefits Adviser - DipPFS/DipFA Qualified (Level 4)

  • Hybrid
  • £70,000-£85,000

Mandatory: Full Level 4 regulated diploma (DipPFS, DipFA, or equivalent) required. This is a corporate Employee Benefits advice role not wealth management, not pensions administration, paraplanning, or protection sales. Applications without a full Level 4 diploma and demonstrable EB/corporate benefits experience will not be progressed.

Overview

Accomplish Today is exclusively retained by a well-established and highly regarded financial services firm to appoint an experienced, diploma-qualified Employee Benefits Adviser. This is a technical, client-facing role advising corporate clients on workplace pensions, group risk, and broader employee benefits - not a generalist advice role, and not suitable for advisers whose background is in personal wealth management, retirement planning for individuals, or HNW client advice.

You will deliver regulated advice and ongoing service to new and existing corporate clients, working to FCA standards and contributing directly to the growth of an established Employee Benefits proposition. Full administrative support is provided so you can focus on advice and client relationships.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Delivering regulated advice to corporate clients at a high technical standard across Employee Benefits, not personal wealth or investment advice
  • Developing and presenting clear, compelling client propositions covering Group Personal Pensions, Group Risk, and broader EB provision
  • Achieving agreed new business objectives
  • Conducting structured client reviews to agreed service standards
  • Ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal requirements
  • Presenting complex employee benefits solutions to employers and employees with clarity
  • Building relationships with clients, product providers and internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining CPD and IDD requirements

Essential Requirements - please self-check before applying

  • A full Level 4 regulated diploma (DipPFS, DipFA, or equivalent) - mandatory, not desirable
  • Minimum three years' experience delivering regulated financial advice specifically within Employee Benefits or corporate benefits - general IFA, wealth management, or retail investment advice experience alone does not meet this requirement
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge across Group Personal Pensions, Group Income Protection, Group Life (DIS), Private Medical Insurance, and Auto Enrolment
  • Confidence engaging directly with corporate decision-makers (not individual retail clients)
  • Strong IT capability (Word, Excel)

Desirable

  • Experience with flexible benefits platforms

Not Suitable For

This role is not suitable for candidates whose background is in:

  • Wealth management or personal/HNW investment advice
  • Pensions administration
  • Paraplanning
  • Protection sales
  • Any unregulated advice capacity
  • Candidates without a full Level 4 diploma

Package

  • Basic salary £70,000-£85,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Private Medical Cover
  • Full administrative support
  • Hybrid working
