Produce Department Coordinator

Oversee daily produce department operations, including ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, pricing, and food safety. Supervise and train team members, support staffing and development, deliver customer service, and help meet sales, labor, and margin goals.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ordering, receiving, stocking, and displaying produce to support sales and profitability.
• Schedule, select, hire, train, and supervise department team members.
• Monitor sales, labor, margin, supply costs, and shrink against department goals.
• Maintain accurate pricing, promotional signage, product rotation, and display standards.
• Enforce food safety, product quality, cleanliness, and safe work practices.
• Provide customer assistance and ensure the department team delivers prompt service.
