Our client is looking for a Oracle DBA + OCI Consultant  project in Dallas, TX  below is the detailed requirement.
Job positing Title: Oracle DBA + OCI Consultant
Location: Dallas, TX 
Required Skills :Oracle RDBMS, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI)
Job description:
•    Bachelor’s degree in related field
•    Should be 8+ yrs of experience and proficient in installation, configuration & administration of Oracle RDBMS 19c/21c onwards.
•    Responsible for installation, upgrades and administration of (Database and RAC), patches, SR support, database tuning, Schema refresh, cloning. 
•    Should have experience working under Oracle Engineered Systems.
•    Deep understanding of ASM, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, SQL/PL-SQL optimization, and Linux/Unix administration.
•    Implement security postures using OCI Cloud Guard, IAM, VCN security lists, encryption, and regular database patching.
•    Experience configuring or supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services, including Virtual Cloud Networks, subnets, Identity and Access Management policies, platform monitoring, and access controls.
•    Good understanding of core support processes and Change Management 
•    Provision, configure, and manage resources on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform, including compute instances, storage, networking, and databases.
•    Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures in accordance with OCI best practices and organizational requirements.
•    Monitor OCI services and infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
•    Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI resources, including connectivity, performance, and access controls.
•    Plan and execute OCI migrations, upgrades, and expansions in coordination with stakeholders and project teams.
•    Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline OCI administration tasks and workflows.
•    Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for OCI resources and data.
•    Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OCI services with existing infrastructure, applications, and services.
•    Stay up to date with OCI features, updates, and new releases, evaluating and recommending improvements as needed.
•    Support cloud budgeting, cost tracking, and optimization.
•    Work with customer and Oracle support for any product issues.
•    Excellent Communication skills both written/verbal
•    This role is requires good soft skills with customer and associated stakeholders.
