Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking Cybersecurity / IAM / PAM / Active Directory Professionals for our client, the City and County of San Francisco – Department of Technology, in San Francisco, CA. This is a temporary contract assignment. We are seeking qualified professionals across three service areas: Microsoft Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID, Identity/Access/Governance/Security, and Cybersecurity Professional & Technical Services. Position Title: Cybersecurity / IAM / PAM / Active Directory Professionals
Service Areas:

  • Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID Services
  • Identity, Access, Governance, and Security Services
  • Cybersecurity Professional and Technical Services
    Location: San Francisco, CA – Remote; U.S. candidates accepted, SF/Bay Area/California preferred
    Duration: As-needed contract / Task Order based
    Work Schedule: Monday–Friday; schedule may vary by Task Order
    Pay Rate: $50–$60/hr W2
    Proposal Due Date: October 20, 2026 at 3:00 PM PST

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Design, implement, migrate, integrate, secure, modernize, and support enterprise identity and security environments.
  • Support Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID architecture, migration, consolidation, security hardening, troubleshooting, administration, and modernization.
  • Support IAM, IGA, PAM, MFA, SSO, identity lifecycle management, access governance, identity verification, cloud identity, and Zero Trust initiatives.
  • Design and support secure, scalable, highly available IAM environments and enterprise application integrations.
  • Provide cybersecurity architecture, engineering, implementation, assessment, remediation, and operational support.
  • Support cloud, network, endpoint, vulnerability management, security testing, incident response, threat detection, SOC, application/infrastructure security, data protection, hardening, and security automation.
  • Integrate identity and security platforms with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, governance solutions, and related technologies.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for project-based, advisory, implementation, and operational requirements.

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • 5+ years of relevant enterprise experience for Active Directory/Entra ID and IAM/Identity Security resources.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID, including migrations/consolidations, GPO, DNS, trusts, service accounts, security hardening, MFA, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, and Microsoft 365 security.
  • Strong experience with IAM/IGA/PAM/MFA/SSO, identity lifecycle management, access governance, Zero Trust, and enterprise identity integrations.
  • Experience with technologies such as Oracle IAM/OIG/OAG/OCI, BeyondTrust, or comparable platforms.
  • Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, LDAP/LDAPS, APIs, cloud identity services, and enterprise application integrations.
  • Strong hands-on cybersecurity experience across relevant areas such as cloud security, network security, endpoint security, vulnerability management, incident response, SOC, threat detection, security testing, hardening, and security automation.
  • Relevant cybersecurity/technical certification preferred and strongly targeted, such as Microsoft Identity/Security/Cloud/Architecture certifications, IAM/cybersecurity/cloud certifications, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, Security+, Azure Security, AWS Security, or comparable credentials.
  • SLED/Public Sector or large enterprise experience strongly preferred.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
