Job Title: Senior Infor XA Consultant (RPG Development)
Location: Augusta, GA (Preferred) / Remote
Duration: Long-Term Contract

 

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Infor XA Consultant with extensive RPG development expertise to support and enhance enterprise ERP systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Infor XA (MAPICS) running on IBM iSeries/AS400 platforms and experience supporting manufacturing operations, ERP enhancements, custom development, integrations, troubleshooting, and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and enhance Infor XA ERP modules.
• Design, develop, and implement ERP enhancements.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop applications using RPG III, RPG IV, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL Programming, and SQLRPGLE.
• Create reports, interfaces, batch jobs, and custom applications.
• Optimize existing applications for performance and maintainability.
• Perform code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Support ERP upgrades, patches, and modernization projects.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Inventory, Procurement, Order Management, and Finance teams.
• Participate in testing, UAT, deployments, and production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Infor XA (MAPICS) experience.
• IBM iSeries (AS400).
• RPG III / RPG IV / RPGLE.
• Free Format RPG.
• CL Programming.
• SQL/DB2.
• Embedded SQL.
• Query/400.
• Batch Processing.
• Job Scheduling.
• Subfiles & Display Programming.
• Manufacturing ERP experience.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
