Job Description

Accounting Manager | Waukegan, IL, United States | On-site

The Role

  • Manage the daily operations of the Corporate Accounting team, ensuring robust internal controls and efficient processes.
  • Oversee critical accounting functions including fixed assets, leases, cost accounting, freight, and cash management.
  • Direct the month-end and year-end close processes, guaranteeing accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and professional growth.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA designation with a minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proven leadership experience with at least 3 years of supervisory or management responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Oracle G/L or similar ERP systems is a plus.
