About the Role
The Regional Sales Manager – Central is responsible for leading sales execution across a large geographic territory within the Central United States.

Responsibilities
Deliver annual sales, distribution, depletion, and market share objectives across an assigned Central region
Drive execution success by building strong working relationships with distributor leadership, distributor sales teams, and key trade accounts
Manage distributor performance against agreed market goals, including distribution, feature activity, pricing, and execution standards
Develop and execute regional market plans by channel and account, prioritizing resources toward the highest‑impact opportunities
Ensure compliance with national and regional on‑premise and off‑premise account programs across the territory
Actively plan and execute market activations, blitzes, and selling initiatives with clear objectives and measurable outcomes
Lead educational initiatives with distributor sales personnel focused on portfolio knowledge and execution expectations
Conduct customer meetings, beverage trainings, wine dinners, and brand activations across on‑ and off‑premise channels
Use market data and insights to identify risks, opportunities, and growth levers
Participate in regular distributor check‑ins and business reviews to track progress against operating plans
Manage local market budgets with fiscal discipline, ensuring transparency and adherence to approved spend
Monitor competitive activity and communicate insights on competitor strategies and tactics
About you
Bachelor’s Degree
5–8 years of professional outside sales experience within wine, beverage alcohol, or CPG
Strong understanding of the U.S. three‑tier system and distributor execution models
Experience managing regional territories and complex account structures
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on managing for value and distribution growth
Effective communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
High integrity, strong work ethic, and comfort operating independently
Drive distributor and key account performance
Deliver sales, distribution, and depletion objectives
Execute market plans, activations, and programs
Travel regularly within the assigned region

The anticipated base compensation for this position is $100,000to $129,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, internal equity, and market considerations.

This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation, bonuses, commissions, and/or a comprehensive benefits package, as applicable. The compensation range listed reflects a good faith estimate of the hiring range for this position at the time of posting.
